Snakes, Owls, and Foxes, Oh My! features the fox, the snake, and the owl in an exploration of the cultural views that shape our feelings. Learn why snakes are more feared than other animals. Discover differences, such as how owls are a symbol of protection in Chinese culture but considered a bad omen by many European cultures. Identify symbols and ideas used in a story from the Snoqualmie tribe. Through this multicultural journey, you’ll develop a new appreciation for these animals.
“Attendees” will pick up their meals from participating restaurants, then return home to join The Wilderness Center via Zoom for a fun program geared toward adults.
Please indicate at registration which one restaurant you will pick your meal up from. A TWC coordinator will reach out via email to confirm your menu selection.
