Our program will be climbing Mt. Kilimanjaro in Africa, presented by Tom Patton from Dover.  Anyone interested in hiking should come to one of our meetings and find out about our club. Those interested can also check out specific hikes on the Backpackers and Dayhikers’ Club webpage.

  Enjoy a night hike at the Wilderness Center on the first day of spring.  Bring your red-light flashlight – white lights are not allowed on the trails at night. Don’t have a red-light flashlight? Bring your flashlight and we can make it red for you.  Hiking boots and weather appropriate attire are recommended.

Our program tonight is "Hike into Peru's Machu Picchu" and will be presented by world travelers and authors Chuck and Beth Hewett. The program will be followed by a snack/refreshment break and then a short business meeting.

  Our trails are not only beautiful, but they’re full of hidden ecology, too. Tune in to nature sounds and enjoy some fresh air on a medium length hike. Full of amazing discoveries, our hikes include seasonally relevant content including adaptations, ecological change, habitats, and the food web.
