Join TWC’s Bird Club in the Bird Observation Room in our Interpretive Building and enjoy Breakfast with the Birds! The TWC Bird Club will host this morning event and will be on-site to help our bird viewers identify the birds in our Bird Observation Room.

Urban Jungle: The History and Future of Nature in the City by Ben Wilson. The author examines the uneasy relationship between nature and city throughout history. He cites examples of cities living proactively with nature as ways for the planet to survive in an age of climate crisis.

What an Owl Knows: The New Science of the World's Most Enigmatic Bird by Jennifer Ackerman. A New York Times Best-Seller by this well-known author describes the natural history of these elusive birds along with the latest discoveries about their brains and behaviors. She explores humanity's thousands years fascination with owls.

Seed to Dust: A Gardener's Story of Life, Nature, and a Country Garden by Marc Hamer. The author reflects on the cycles of the seasons and of life as he tends a Welsh garden that has been in his care for more than 20 years.

Join the TWC Geocaching Club for an evening of self-led hikes. New geocaches will be available beginning at 6 pm on the trails at the Wilderness Center for you to find and log. Light refreshments will be available in the Buckeye Room to warm up with after your walk. This event will be held ice…
