Join TWC staff and volunteers as part of a new Community Science project! During the winter months TWC will support Cornell Lab of Ornithology’s long-term bird studies by counting all birds that gather at the feeding stations outside the Nature Center viewing windows. A quick and easy orientation will be offered on the data collection process and a naturalist will be available for any birding id questions!
This gathering takes place on Thursdays and Fridays beginning November 6 and continuing through April. We won’t meet the weeks of Thanksgiving, Christmas or New Years!
All program proceeds will support our wildlife feeding in the Observation Room during the winter months.
