The curiosity of a young boy takes us on a journey to learn about light and its importance to all of us.  The light from fire changed the lives of early humans and the evolution of our understanding and use of light has played an important part in the evolution of human beings.  The Sun, our only natural light source, provides the light and heat necessary for life on Earth.  Learn how studying light from the Sun, other stars and distant galaxies, that our eyes can’t see, allows us to explore the origin, structure and evolution of the universe.   Be amazed by all the uses of artificial light in our lives.  And the most amazing thing of all is light continues to surprise us as we are constantly finding new properties and applications of light.  We live in a universe of light!

This is a family program good for ages 5 and above.

A “Tonight’s Sky” program showing seasonal constellations and planets currently in the night sky will follow the fulldome show.
