Join us as we explore how scholars and scientists throughout the ages used the sky as a calendar and clock to measure the passage of time. Their charts and star catalogs were the beginnings of the modern science of astronomy! Follow astronomer Johannes Kepler’s theories about planetary movement from his work in the early 1600’s to today’s spacecraft maneuvers as we leave Earth to explore other worlds.
A “Tonight’s Sky” program showing a few of the seasonal constellations and planets currently in the night sky will follow the fulldome show.
Please arrive 10 minutes early. Seating is limited, pre-registration ensures you a seat. Walk-ins accepted if seats are available, cash only and exact payment requested.
