Celebrate spring at The Wilderness Center! We’ll have stories and songs all about spring. Then go on a walk to hear birds sing and see spring flowers. Storytime Sprouts is an early childhood program for children ages 2-6. Only register and pay for children actively participating in Sprouts. There is no charge for adults.

The Wilderness Center is home to several animal ambassadors! Join us for a free Creature Feature program to learn all about their natural history and how we care for them. All ages. An adult must accompany children under 12.

Children must be accompanied by an adult. Dive into the world beneath the surface and go pond dipping with The Wilderness Center. Get hands-on with nets and bug trays as we identify and learn about these fascinating creatures, and how they help our freshwater ecosystems. Please be prepared to get muddy and wet.
