Join The Wilderness Center for our summer Jr. Naturalist Days, designed for young nature enthusiast ages 7-10. Over five exciting days, participants will delve into the fascinating world of nature, exploring topics like pollinators, conservation, mammals, freshwater ecosystems, and become FBI Investigators. Through hands-on activities, exploration, and games we will discover some of the skills it takes to be a naturalist here at The Wilderness Center.
Get ready to slither, hop, and leap into the fascinating world of reptiles and amphibians. Jr. Naturalists will discover the fascinating diversity of these cold-blooded creatures, from frogs and toads to snakes and turtles. Through hands-on encounters and outdoor exploration, our Jr. Naturalists will learn about the unique habitats and adaptations that allow these animals to thrive in their environments.
We will take a lunch break, so Jr. Naturalists are encouraged to bring a lunch and snacks. We will also be exploring various habitats and spaces. Make sure to dress for outdoor adventures and bring sunscreen and insect repellent. Accompanying adults are welcome to stay but not required to stay.
Note: This $20/$25 registration is only for Junior Naturalist Days: Reptile & Amphibian Adventure on 06/05/24
