Join The Wilderness Center for our summer Jr. Naturalist Days, designed for young nature enthusiast ages 7-10. Over five exciting days, participants will delve into the fascinating world of nature, exploring topics like pollinators, conservation, mammals, freshwater ecosystems, and become FBI Investigators. Through hands-on activities, exploration, and games we will discover some of the skills it takes to be a naturalist here at The Wilderness Center.

Buzz, flutter, and flit as we celebrate Pollinators Week! Jr. Naturalists will learn all about the vital role that bees, butterflies, and other pollinators play in our ecosystems. Through hands-on observations and outdoor exploration, they will discover the importance of pollination and the crucial relationship between pollinators and plants. Get ready to be amazed by the power of pollinators.

We will take a lunch break, so Jr. Naturalists are encouraged to bring a lunch and snacks. We will also be exploring various habitats and spaces. Make sure to dress for outdoor adventures and bring sunscreen and insect repellent. Accompanying adults are welcome to stay but not required to stay.

Note: This $20/$25 registration is only for Junior Naturalist Days: Pollinator Power on 06/19/24
