Spend the day with a naturalist and learn how to become a birder. There are so many unique birds, but many people do not know how to find them or where to look. You will learn how to listen and find birds in all kinds of habitats. Our day will include activities that help us learn about the different kinds of birds and their role in the environment. The best way to see birds is by using binoculars, bring your own or borrow ours. This will be a fun day for you and your junior naturalist to learn and explore the wild.
For children entering grades 1-5. This is not a drop-off event, but is meant for an adult to participate with their Jr. Naturalist(s). List yourself as the “registrant” and child/children as “attendee”.
$12/session for one child, $6 for an additional child.
This is part of a 4-part series. Registrants who participate in 3 or more sessions get a discounted rate of $10/session for one child.
