On October 6 and 7, 2023, the trails of TWC will be transformed into The Enchanted Forest!
Creating this one-of-a-kind, educational, and entertaining event is possible thanks to the time and talents of dozens of dedicated volunteers. If you've helped with this event before, then you know how much fun it can be!
This year’s volunteer opportunities include Pumpkin Carving, Characters, Fireflies, and more.
- Pumpkin Carving will occur as a drop-in activity on Wednesday, October 4 and Thursday, October 5 between 12 and 4 pm.
- Characters, Fireflies, and more are needed for Friday (October 6) night, Saturday (October7) afternoon, and night.
This year’s Characters include Coyote, Turtle, Mole, Flying Squirrel, Bat, and Caterpillar. Fireflies act as trail guides for the groups of people visiting the Enchanted Forest.
- This signature educational event for TWC attracts over 1,000 visitors annually and has been happening for over 30 years.
- The Enchanted Forest is a fall tradition for families throughout the region who create lasting memories together while learning about conservation and connecting with nature in a unique setting.
