Bat Bonanza: Night Edition

Gone batty? Relax and join us for a fun nighttime program at the Wilderness Center. This program begins indoors with guest speaker Nancy Owen and some of her ambassador bats, but ends prowling for bats outside. Learn how bats thrive in the night, indicators that bats are present, and debunking some myths. Dress according to the weather and with comfortable walking shoes since the second half of this program will be outside in the dark.

Bring your red-light flashlight – white lights are not allowed on the trails at night. Don’t have a red-light flashlight? Bring your flashlight and we can make it red for you.
