Animal Keeper for a Day

Animal Keeper for a Day offers the experience of caring for our ambassador reptiles! Participants will learn about our Eastern box turtles and red corn snake, then are trained how to safely handle them. Activities will include animal care and husbandry tasks such as diet preparation and feeding, exhibit cleaning, enrichment, and weighing the animals. You will also have the option to help one of the education staff members talk to visitors during a Creature Feature program! 

Open to ages 9 and up, this program has limited capacity. All active participants must register.
