Learn about the night sky from the unique perspective of a Cowboy Astronomer.  Our cowboy will tell us about stars, their properties, their motion, and seasonal changes in the sky.  You’ll learn about constellations and some of the other objects in the night sky like the Pleiades star cluster, the Andromeda Galaxy, nebulae, and supernovas to name a few.  Along the way our cowboy will regale us with star stories from different cultures and countries, including Native American, Germany, ancient Arabic, Polynesian, ancient Greece, and even British poetry.

A “Tonight’s Sky” program showing seasonal constellations and planets currently in the night sky will follow the show.

Please arrive 10 minutes early. Seating is limited, pre-registration ensures you a seat. Walk-ins accepted if seats are available, cash only and exact payment requested.
