Saturday June 1, 9 am – 2 pm, & Sunday June 2, 11 am – 3 pm
Nature Fest and Foto Fest is a rain or shine event that happens for one weekend only each summer at TWC. Nature Fest & Foto Fest is FREE for attendees, so invite your friends and family to come out for a day of celebrating art and nature!
The weekend includes numerous makers of nature themed / inspired items, and community organizations. Food from Big Papi’s Potatoes on Saturday. Our raffle, featuring gift certificates from area attractions and items created by Nature Fest vendors has become a highlight of the event! Guests will also have the opportunity to shop from our remaining Native Plant inventory.
FREE activities on Saturday June 1st include a Wild Bees & Butterflies of Ohio presentation by Tracy Teuscher from Save Ohio Bees at 10 am, live music from High Country Bluegrass between 11 am and 1 pm, the popular, family-friendly Saturday Creature Feature hosted by TWC’s Education Team at 12:30, and more!

Are you curious about TWC’s Clubs? Nature Fest is a great time to meet representatives from many of TWC’s clubs and learn more about how you can get involved.
- The Astronomy Club will host solar viewing (weather permitting). The Astronomy Club has the capability for both white light and hydrogen alpha views, giving different views of the Sun’s photosphere and chromosphere.
- The Geocachers will have a booth with examples of geocaches and paper handouts.
- The Woodcarvers will host a presentation at 1 pm Saturday that discusses how to get started, basic tools and safety equipment, and will even include a start-to-finish demonstration of small project.
- Find out about the different presenters that TWC’s Dayhikers and Backpackers Club hosts at its FREE monthly meetings and how you can join the club on the trails.
- Do you have a love of nature and a special passion for birds? Meet the TWC Birders!
- TWC’s Nature Photo Club will display 100’s of photographs all weekend long and guests are invited to participate in the People’s Choice Awards by voting for their favorite Foto Fest photographs.
