TWC Members Only: Winter Tree Identification

Join TWC’s Conservation team to learn how to identify trees in winter during a tour of Wiles Woods in NW Wayne County. We will use bark, twigs, buds, and other evidence to determine what species are present. This beautiful property has many giant trees and is currently undergoing a restoration to remove invasive species and replace them with native vegetation.  The site also has some species that are uncommon to this part of Ohio including eastern hemlock.
