Planetarium Show: Spark- The Universe in Us
Where did the building blocks of life come from? From the oxygen we breath to the iron in our blood to the water we drink to the uranium that warm’s Earth core, we owe it all to the stars. Journey across space and time to discover the celestial origins of the elements we all have in common. You’ll enter the core of a giant star just before it implodes, experience the quiet demise of a Sun-like star and see how colliding stars seed the Universe with the building blocks of life. Everything in the universe is composed of different combinations and concentrations of the same 94 naturally occurring elements – all from the stars. Learn how we are connected to the universe and how these elements make Earth a living world. A “Tonight’s Sky” program showing seasonal constellations and planets currently in the night sky will follow the show.
