Reservations Accepted on a first-come, first-served basis, but must be received at least 2 weeks before the requested date. Please make reservations at least 4 weeks before “Special Order” programs and Teacher Workshops.
Times At TWC: Groups may be scheduled back-to-back so, if you are late, your program may be shortened. Feel free to arrive earlier or stay later than your program. At your site: Try to plan flexible ending times, to allow for student questions.
Fees Additional $25/showing for programs before 9 a.m. or after 5 p.m. (except Star Watches). Minimum of $30/program; add $1/student over maximum. At TWC: Fees for Contract Districts during TWC hours are covered by the contract payment. At your site: Travel fee of 45˘/mile outside Wayne, Stark, Holmes, and Tuscarawas Counties. Contract District schools receive a 20% discount.
Cancellation If it is a snow day and school is canceled for your district or for Fairless District (where TWC is located), we will reschedule or, if that is not possible, will refund all money. If you otherwise can’t keep your appointment, contact TWC as far in advance as possible. If you cancel, and notify TWC at least 24 hours before your program, TWC will refund all but a $15 processing fee. If cancellation (other than snow days) is not received at TWC at least 24 hours in advance of your program’s scheduled start time, you must pay the full program fee.
Confirmation Within a week of receiving your application, TWC sends a confirmation packet. Please share the information with all attending teachers. If you change the number of students by 10 or more, contact TWC as far in advance as possible.
Lunches At TWC: Groups eat in picnic shelters unless it is snowing, sleeting, or below 20° F.; then, you may use the lab, which seats 70. There is an additional $20 fee if we must clean your lunch area. At your site: If you schedule multiple presentations, please allow at least a 15-minute lunch period for our presenter.
